Hi! I'm Emilie and I have just had RNY surgery. (you say back "Hello Emilie"...) 
My story...well, it's not super eventful but I do love my life. I'm not going to say how miserable I am overweight. I have learned to love life regardless of what I weigh, but I'm not going to lie and say I love being overweight either.
I've always been a big girl and have dieted off and on since the age of 12. I have been wanting this surgery for the last five years and finally did it! My main reason for doing this is I have chronic pain in my hips and have already had one surgery and am hoping to avoid another.
I have an incredible husband who is extremely supportive and this was his idea! He's awesome! I have two great kids and wouldn't trade my life for the world. I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends. I love meeting new people. I'm from So. Cal but now reside in Oh. Big change! But a good one.
