I'm four months out and still doing great. I'm down 70 pounds since surgery and am DOWN TO ONE DIABETES MED!!!!!! This surgery is such a great tool and I'm really really glad I FINALLY went through with it. Still a learning process but a good one :)

Nine weeks out

I'm nine weeks out and doing really well. I'm down 50 pounds, off my Insulin, discontinued one of my three diabetes oral agents, have cut one of my BP pills out, and have halved the dose on the other one. Saw my doctor yesterday and he's as pleased as I am.
Gastric bypass surgery is a huge step but it's well worth the rewards :) I'm so glad I went ahead with the surgery finally.
