I havent posted in awhile! Well I am down 88lbs from before the surgery.  I am wearing a 16, which I havent done since High School.  I dont feel like I have more energy, which is what every one seems to think  or ask me about, lol.  BUT now I dont worry about where we sit in a restaurant... I dont worry about fitting in desks at work...or riding on the back of my husband's motorcycle.
I guess I have this... weird...thing, where I think thin people are rude, LOL.  So when I started shopping in the regular sizes, I felt like I didnt belong... like all the thin people would kick me out or something crazy! Of course, no one says anything to me, but I just feel like.. I dont belong in the 'misses' section.  It is SO WEIRD to head to the front of the store, instead of searching for the plus size section. I'm a weirdo I know!
Also, I am going to be in a canoe race on the 10th! Wish me luck!
I did have a week where I did not lose any weight.  I know this is dumb, lol, but I was snacking on nuts during, so I stopped.  Not sure if that was the reason.  I did have another week where I only lost one pound.  Other than those two, I lose between 2 and 5 a week, usually 2 or 3.
I am also working on my scrapbook, I need to add tons of stuff!!

Well I am a little over 3 months out, and total, since October, I have lost 67 lbs.  I was at a size 24 pre-op and now I am wearing a 18 or 20.  That feels great.  I was even able to get a pair of 16s buttoned, i couldnt move, but hey they were buttoned! he he he

So, I can 'squeeze into a size 18, that is damn exciting!  Now really, i should be wearing 20's and even some 22's. But I can get those 18's buttoned, so im excited. I havent worn 18's since I was a junior in college, and Im talking the first semester! LOL
Total, including the pre-op liquid diet i have lost over 46 lbs.  I try not to weigh myself every day, it gets really stressful... but I do it a couple times a week.
I do better every day, I work out 3x a week.
I struggle with getting enough water and protein.
I am SOOOOOOO confused about my vitamins and I dont know who to contact... my PCP? my surgeon? my old nutrionist?
Im doing mostly good though, and I no longer thing I made a huge mistake, lol.

So tomorrow is my 5 week surgiversary, LOL.  I am doing much better, in fact I joined the YMCA and I went and worked out today :)

So far I have lost 28 lbs, which doesnt feel like much, but when I want so much gone, it is hard not to focus on the big goal you know?

I am feeling tons better than before.  I do feel hungry often, but I get full very very easy.  I am getting slightly annoyed with so many people trying to give me advice, but plus I am a super sensitive person, LOL.

I went to a WLS support group last night, it was.... interesting...

My surgeon was the guest speaker, so that was cool.  Plus there were a couple people that were a few years post op and they had some great advice.

OK, I am done, and think I will go farm some clefthoof leather in Nagrand....[you must be at least 70% nerdy to understand that statement. I am 78% ]

Well i am feeling tons better than before. I can eat more 'real' foods which makes me feel more satisfied.  So far I have lost about  23 lbs, which really doesnt seem like much for me. It feels like I am losing so slow.  I decided that weighing myself every day is WAY too stressful, so I know just weigh myself on Thursdays. That way I can see a loss and not all the waves in between.
I keep thinking about trying wine, I am kind of afraid.
Bread is my enemy and so is chicken when i dont eat slow or chew enough.
I am struggling to get my protein and my water in.  I know I need them and I know what i need to do, but I am so tired of protein shakes, I dont like the taste.

I am doing ok, I am still really sore and achey on my left side. I am an emotional roller coaster.  Right  now I am not too excited, hopefully in a few weeks or months i will be more excited that this was the right decision.
