I have always felt over weigh from the time I was in 6th grade and had stretch marks until even now. After years of almost every diet plan and doing the yo-yo weight loss and gain, I decided to look into surgery. After doing some research, I wasn't able to find any good info on the subject so I changed my mind and continued on the diet plans that didn't work. To my surprise, my sister was having the same thoughs and found the Unity Hospital group that has had their program in place for over 20 years. She decided to have the surgery and has done very well and I am so proud of her. Because of her success, I decided to have the surgery as well. My process to get to surgery was 4 months for all the required appointments and insurance approval. I am feeling great and starting to get lots of comments.
