surgery scheduled for 12/29/08

hi everyone...I am new on here and this is my first time posting. I am looking foward to becoming a part of the OH family. My surgery is scheduled for Dec 29th which is also my birthday....what a great b-day gift! My surgeon is Dr. Nimeri in Fresno. I am looking forward to my big day....a little nervous.....but more excited than anything. My doctor did not put me on a pre-op diet or anything. What can I do to prepare myself for my surgery?
