I have struggled with my weight since I can remember, which is about elementary school. I remeber in elementary school getting teased for being overweight and I never really felt like I fit in because of my weight. Throughout high school I was the girl that the guys were freinds with. I always wished I had a boyfriend like all of my thinner friends. (Looking back I'm glad I didn't!) I was constantly comparing myself to other people and always seeing if I was the biggest person in my class.
After high school, I was working full time in a salon basically doing anything there to get experience as a new stylist. At that time I had maintained my average weight of about 160 for quite a few years by not eating much, keeping very busy and smoking. When I was 19, I met my husband and we started dating and he took me out to eat a lot which caused me to gain some weight. After a while of dating him, I gave up smoking and gained more weight.
We got married almost three years after we met and on our honey moon I gained more weight and got pregnant! I gained about 20 pounds with my pregnancy which i hear is normal but when your are 200lbs to start with it puts your over the edge. Everyone kept telling me it was all baby weight. My son was only 7lbs. I was 217 at my first appointment with my OB-GYN. So much for being all baby!
So here I am maintaing around 220 two and a half years after my baby was born. I am tired of being a fat and unhealthy mommy that can't play with her son on the playground! I have been wanting to get WLS for a while now and can't wait to go this show on the road! I am soooo ready to become a M.I.L.F!
