Ok so this is my story!!! My name is Angie i am 30 years old with a wonderful husband Randy. We have three beautiful children Taylor, Maiya and Marissa! They are the center of my world. I have been diabetic now for 10 years and even though Ive kept perfect A1C's my diabetes seems to winning, it is always beating me down. Unless you have diabetes you could never actually understand how much a disease can beat you down so bad and that the beatens from this disease change constantly. Well Ive had enough and that is why Ive opted for the RNY. I started the percedure 5years ago with a differnt surgeon that didnt make me feel comfortable and I got scared so I backed out. But this time ive found a surgeon that makes me feel safe so this time im not backing down no matter how scared I get. The support group seems to be helpful but it is hugh, and i feel getting questions in is maybecome hard. My Avatar, She is the girl i see myself as inside a beautiful girl with strength! I think after i get this weight off and get laser eye surgey I will look like her! Will see... And yes I need the laser eye surgery because my eyes were chemically burned a few years back and while they healed completely, they are super sensitive to contact lenses. Ok so back to my life, I have a great support team, I live in typical suburbia with hubsand, kids and the dog! My parents live 4 houses down one way and my brother and his family live 6 houses down the other. So yes my house is the meeting spot for everything! Everyone is very supportive of my surgery, especially my mother, whom I could not get through life without...... So this is my life and here starts the fresh one!!!
