I've decided to go ahead and start my journey to a newer, better self!! One who will be happy to be me!! I was referred to a surgeon in Carmel and am waiting on a call to get a consultations set up. As I was surfing threw the insurance info I found out that a lady in K'ville has the same insurance as me and it took her 2 weeks to get it approved I was really happy to find that out!! I got the results of my blood work earlier this week from the Drs office everything came back good!! He's impressed since diabetes runs in our family!! I was also diagnosed with Venous stasis disease. Its cause is from the pressure of having a large abdomen which increases the workload on the valves in my veins of my lower legs, that is normally carried to the heart, back up, and causes higher pressure in the veins. And has lead to swelling, thickening of the skin and patches of red spots on my legs. It's very painful and embarrassing to have!! As soon as I hear anything I'll be back on to share an update for ya!! =]
