I haven't been on this site in a very long time. I started my WL journey back in 2005 with the lab band. I had to lose 80 lbs with band and I did lose 60 lbs with the band and then started having complications, from pain at the port, to constant vomiting, to terrible acid reflux. I had to rethink how I was eating because having a second surgery was not an option to me. But then my complications started to worsen and my Dr. told me that my complications was coming from the 2005 4cc band that had failed me through my WL journey and advised before I have a slipped band to have a revision from band to sleeve. I am now on a new journey as of Sept 18, 2014 with my new sleeve. I have to stay focused and continue what I started back in 2005. #IWillSucceed
