I started this at 287 lbs in may of 2006 I decided to have the ryn done and once i make up my mind that is all it takes. Getting everything aproved was a long ordeal i lost 50 lbs before my ryn and in the last month gained 11 back everyone who i talked to said they wish they would have eaten here and there and eaten this one last time so i did on the morning of my ryn I weighed 241lbs that was october 30 2006 and it was in the nick of time because the next insurance year my insurance would no longer cover the operation so i was very lucky i have had an easy time of recorery my only side effect i seem to be suffering is low potassium and hair loss so i can not complain I am 5 months post op and now weigh 183lbs only 33 more lbs untill my goal. At first I decided on 170 but now I think I can go further
