Still having problems getting to goal

When I started out I had a goal in mind and when the weight started falling off I didn't think it was going to be a problem reaching that goal. Well, guess what I was so wrong, The weight lose got really slow around 8 month mark and once a year came around I had stopped losing all together. I started working out everyday and still didn't see any shift, so the harded I worked out the more depressed I got to the point I gave up working out. However, here I am again trying to pull myself out of this black hole I've gotten myself into and turn things around. Anyone got ideas , I am open to them all . Anything to help me get back into the game. :(

I know what your thinking it's all in my head,,your right it is but that doesn't make it easier to deal with. I've worked hard to get to this point but when I look in the mirror I don't like what I see. So my plan is to start lift weights to see if I can tone up and not look so flabby ,,,, As anyone else found that once you've gotten near your goal things aren't what you thought they would be?
