So I had my one month dr. visit today....my weight 298!!! I am under 300 pounds for the first time in close to five years... I am so excited..I just have to keep on working at it and I know I will succeed with this surgery!!

So I have never tried this blogging stuff but I figured I needed somewhere to express myself. I had my surgery on Febuary 5th,  2010. So far I have lost close to 30 pounds and am close to being under 300 pounds for the first time in almost four years. Even though I am seeing results I can't help but wonder is this weight loss going to continue. I find myself looking at the scale alot and thinking " I should be losing more weight". I also am concerned about the future. What kind of person will I be when I am thinnner? I have struggled with weight my entire life and I wonder if I will be a different person after this experience. I am excited that I am getting healthy...but will I still be me after this experience?
