Hi there all and thank you so much for your words of encouragement! I have been MIA for awhile, we have just moved into a new home and I have been making busy trying to get everything in order before my surgery. I went to the hospital today to pre-admit. It was very exciting. It was almost like a roller coaster ride, scared and excited all at once! I am getting just a touch nervous. I have actuall been trying to cut back on the amount of food that I eat so I won't be in such a state of shock after surgery with no goodies! Thank you again for all of your kind words and prayers! May God Bless you all and bring happiness into your lives

I wish you all the very best on your upcoming surgery. My husband and I both had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 300 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Shannon....I want to send greetings and congratulations to a fellow Texan. I am having surgery in Dallas on the same day as you. I saw one lady who is having surgery in Houston just like you! There are more of us than I ever knew! Best wishes and God bless!
