Barbara- You are getting close now, and I know you are probably feeling excited/anxious/nervous all at the same time. I'll just say, you've done all the hard work already by researching, picking the best surgeon, getting yourself mentally prepared (although it might not feel like it!) The best moment is waking up in recovery, knowing that it's over, and that every second will get better and better! Also know that the first 4-6 weeks you will be very emotional, and give yourself permission to feel everything - sad/happy/sore/doubtful but it will pass. I think staying positive mentally is 99% of it! I know it's made my recovery a breeze so far! Keep in touch...let's us know when you are home! Thoughts and prayers are with you! XOXOX

Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Remember your not alone in this journey, many of us have been down this road, we are here to offer love and support. Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Huggs and Prayers
