So, here I am again -- it's now June 2011 and I've made little progress in my WLS journey -- mostly because I chickened out of the surgery again (and again) and I believed I could do this all on my own.  I've come to believe I need this tool.  I've also come to the realization that I have some nasty head-hunger issues to deal with and I've got to work on resolving them now before I actually have the surgery or it's just not going to work.

I have my consult with the PA at Albany Medical Center Bariatrics next Monday.  I've already done some of the testing and found out that I have moderate to severe sleep apnea, my cholesterol and LDL is high.  I've had the echocardiogram (waiting for results from the sleep dr.) and will have a cardio stress test next week.
