Kim.......I was going to stop by and wish you all the best on your upcoming surgery but from reading....I see that you've already had your surgery so I'll just say congratulations and wish you all the best as the lbs melt off.

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery, I know you are doing a happy dance, and probably some "NERVES", just know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon. Cathy Whitmer

I spoke to Kim tonight. She is physically doing better.. has a very slight temp and white blood count up a bit. She is expected to go home tomorrow though. She has been working really hard at walking and coughing.. I'm so proud of her. I can't wait til she will post of her loses in weight. She did want me to say that although she feels better today, the pain from this proceedure (rny) was "ATROCIOUS".. her words. She felt (just like I do) that ppl should be aware of the pain of this proceedure. I know some ppl are blessed with almost no pain, but some (like us) DO experience it. She says if she knew about the pain before, she would probably not had it done. I had felt the same. Now two and a halp months later, I don't remember the pain, but do know that I had the same reaction. I am just glad that Kim came through safely and will now be able to reap the benefits. I am happy for ya sis and know it will get better. Love ya, Gail

Hi everyone. I just got off the phone.. had a brief conversation with Kim (her babies had just walked in). I believe all is going well, aside from the pain. Many of us know the 'right after surgery don't know if I would do this again' feeling..am I right? Well for those of you that didn't have that.. you are fortunate. I am going to call Kim later (after giving her a chance to visit with her children).. and I will let you all know the details. God bless you Kim and thank you for letting me be your angel. It is quite a blessing for me. Love, Gail

Hi everyone....just hung up with Kim....and she is hanging in there. Shes in a good amount of discomfort (werent we all...lol) but she is strong and a real trooper...G-D will pull her through this all. Her white blood cell count was up but the doctor doesnt seem too too alarmed. I know many of us run a fever, etc after surgery. Shes been up once walking....told her to just do the best she can and walk as often as she can. The correct number to call her at is 615-342-4103, but she is supposed to go home on Monday and said she would speak to everyone when she was feeling a bit better. I imagine she wants a bit of rest when possible..but you be the judge as to whether to call or not. :-) Please continue to send prayers and love to Kim...she is a real special lady and a good friend of mine...and soon to be ONE HOT MOMMA...lol. Hugs to all.

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY... Kim has crossed over to the losing (WINNING) side!! I am thrilled to report that Kim went in this morning at 8:30am and was out by 2:30pm. Her husband, Ronnie said she did well. Dr. Dyer was able to do it lap, which is a blessing to her, I know. While talking to Ronnie, I could hear my angelette moaning in pain. He said the gas was giving her problems.. (we all remember those gas pains EECK). But she is a trooper and has a terrific husband (who was preparing to go rub her back when I was getting off the phone with him). For those wanting to get in touch with Kim, she is at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn., in room # 4103. A number to reach her at is 615/312-4103. Kim hon I am sooo proud of you!! I can't wait til you are the 'INCREDIBLE MELTING WOMAN' lol.. love ya sis Gail
