Well I've been a busy girl, busy being positive & healthy, how is everyone out there???
lets see well, I've been great eating well & frequently small portions, I'm really into my physical activity, I am a CROSS-FIT junkie cycling junkie, & I've ran a few marathons, turning 36 next week, soo I'm pretty proud.
I feel inspired, and i hope to inspire others also :)
I went to remove an abscess a few nights ago at the hospital, my anesthetist told me my heart beat was perfect, for an ex-smoker & chronic asthmatic i was so proud to hear that. I don't dwell on the scales any more have for a long long time, I eat sensibly & in moderation. I currently weigh 66kgs or 145.2 lbs.

Im great, its never been better. Very happy & active i have to say kids love it, we go on bike rides weekly, everything of what we do involves being active, and we are busy most of the time, Autumn is here and it's started to get cooler, as we have had a long hot Summer i never though I'd be 74kgs or 162lbs ever again, but here i am, but thats still not enough I'm hungry for more, 22lbs more lbs and I'll be satisfied, geeze its taking along time to drop a pound or 2 :)
My trainers, family 7 friends cant believe the difference in my body, I won a road bike at the Gym woth $1000, I wass so happy, and felt extremely blessed, cycling classes and combat & pump are some of my favourite classes at the Gym, and I'm running 25kms or more a week, and cycling about 20kms a week too, so I think the body is used to it now, so Ive got to shock it and change it up a bit again !!!! I know i've lost 50kgs in total, i can sort of see it, but still see the fat girl, why?? So not used to the compliments feels weird! I'm a Aus 14 & US 12 in size and I go shopping for clothes & still reach for a size 18 to 16 can anyone explain this to me. I am proud of my achievements!

Hi All,
Hope all is well, I am doing OK, it's very cold at the moment, in Perth. (I hate the cold)
Well I am happy to say, that I ran my first little mini marathon, if you could call it that! It was organised by my health insurers HBF , It was called HBF run for a reason, all could participate members and non-members, to raise money, I chose the Asthma Foundation, as I've been in and out of hospital with asthma for a long time, up until this year, I haven't been to hospital at all and I hardly use my puffers or steroids since i have lost weight and had the lap band. It was a 5kms or 3 miles and I did it in 31Min's so I'm very proud of that achievement! If anyone told me 18months ago to run 5kms, I would've laughed in their face :)
The Cancer Foundation & Heart Foundation raised the most money :D
I'm up and down with eating, some days I can eat and some days I cant, like yesterday no appetite and today I'm hungry and ate but have alot of restriction. So i am seeing my doctor tomorrow, unsure if i need another fill, its been 6 weeks since I have seen him last. Well take care all.

Hiya All,
Well the rain and cold has come to Perth (it's Edward weather, Twillight lovers) I miss Summer already.
Well I'm still the same weight as I was 3 weeks ago it has not shifted, confused to why.
My diet has been good and I workout constantly, so I'm definitely confused, my diet consists of fruit and vegies,soups watery not chunky, loads of Tuna & Salmon. Nuts and seeds. I get my carbs from beans all sorts of beans as I love them, skim/lite milk in my coffee, when I have chicken I steam it. If i have naughties I burn them off or try too.
My workouts are 5 to 6 kms runs 3 x a week sometimes less or more, Spin/RPM Cycle classes 2 to 3 times per week, Pump classes 3 times a week. Eplitical machine 5 x a week at 40 mins, rowing 2kms to 3kms x 3 per week and then some free weights. I'm not joking I'm always at the gym my family think am going crazy. I get my kids in on it too we spend time walking the dogs 5 to 6 times per week or we go down to the basketball court or oval for fun or swimming.
So this is why I am confused at my weight loss in the last 3 months. I sleep 6hrs per night.
I'm very proud at what i have achieved in 6 months (59lbs)But I'm hungry for more. I want to be goal by October.
I'm impatient.

Hey all :)
Well I felt like old habits were creeping back into my life (food Habits) I was abit disappointed in myself i went of track for weeks or so, I've been exercising heaps so I thought that was an excuse to eat what I wanted, making excuses and lying to myself as I once used to with food :)
I went to see my Surgeon for a fill on the 14th of Feb and he didnt want to give me one, he was happy with my progress. but I have struggled to lose the last 2lbs i just lost.
Maybe I'm just hungry and impatient for more loss as we all are, I do think i need a definite fill on the 17th of March, as I am hungry all the time and i can eat well. He encouraged me to nibble on half a tin 100gms of Tuna to curb my hunger or a half a protein shake . We will see!

Finally 50lbs down!

Hey all its been a while :) but i'm still here. I can't believe I'm 50lbs down, feels like it's taken awhile (3mnths & 1 week) well I didn't achieve this goal before my 34th birthday. but yes i still achieved it.
I have been crazy busy with work and the kids starting a new year at school, finally I'm all moved, twas a little stressful moving house just before Christmas glad it's over. I'm still exercising madly everday, I'm addicted I think, I've never felt so positive and happy though, and I feel that i can achieve anything really, nothing seems to hard especially the physical stuff and that feels great. I feel good in clothes even at 198lbs, i can see my feet.........hehhehe
I'm in a size LG scrubs at work and not in a XXXL that feels great, I can tell you :)
I've had some abdominal pain, i think it's because I've never really used those muscles. Also some discomfort sometimes when I eat Chicken breast, so I've been sticking to Tuna & salmon, but now I've been craving red meat. which I'm a big fan of. I have good days and bad days, meaning sometime i can keep for down and somedays i can't. I'm just taking it as it comes :) But I feel Ican still eat alot . Well till next time

Hey all it's been a bit since i last was in touch' so much has happening and still happening. I'm moving houses at the moment so its been a little hectic. I hope everyone is doing great. Well I can't believe it but I am 39 lbs down thats a definite ++ and it feels absolutely great.
I'm extremely active now' and can't believe how fit I've gotten' it's feels so bloody good not to pant while jogging or walking up a hill. I can't believe I'm running for 30 to 45 mins. Well it all just feels wonderful. I'm eating a lot of healthy food. But if I want something I don't deprive myself' I do have it or very little of it and then I work it off with exercise. My self control with food is awesome. I'd never thought I could ever be like this. My sugar cravings are almost non-existent. I was a chocolate freak' I can honestly say I don't look for it or eat it now even when it is in front of me.
Thats an achievement in itself!!!! I'll say it again IT FEELS GOOD!!!! :) Moving house has been a bit overwhelming' especially at this time of the year' I burned a lot of fat from it though' so thats how I look at it. I'm also addicted to recording on health tracker.
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful wonderful CHRISTMAS & A Happy New Year!!!!!! Be safe!

Hey All
Its been a bit since I blogged last'So here I go' I thought I had plateaued in week 3 (POST OP) and thought this was quite strange' as I exercise 6 days a week. So I was getting a bit down as the scales didn't move for a week and half.
Then I had a visit from my monthly friend' after my friend left I lost 4.5lbs so I was ecstatic and yesterday I went for my 1st fill with my surgeon' yesterday I could not eat all day I just felt stuffed and todays the same although I drink a little more. I have also lost another 1.2lbs since yesterday. Before i started this Journey I was 248.9lbs and today I am 222.8. So yes I am happy. :)

Well I've been in great spirits' but I'm so exhausted that I literally just fall asleep as soon as I sit on the couch.
Well I've been extremely active just having a day a week off' I mixing the exercise up tho so I dont get bored.
Well I dont sit down until about 9pm usually' started back at work this week' that was exhausting!!!!
I decided to do some weeding today' oh my back and legs are aching. I mean my body is aching but not sore' but I'm always got the energy to GO GO!!! Which I haven't had in a few years! On Sunday i did walk and jog around a 4.5km Lake felt great' the kids & dogs wanted to kill me I think. LOL i was surprised how good I felt. Altho my weight hasn't shifted but again I have decided not to weigh myself everyday. I figure I've lost 13.42 lbs in 2.5 week so I cant really can't complain.

I must say i feel great today!!! I've been very active' I'm taking every opportunity I can' walking kids to and from school (much to their whinging) I'm so relaxed and sleeping very well. (Even its been humid at night) I don't want to go back to work on Monday.............LOL
This may be too much info but the problem I had with my bladder control is gone' the total loss for so far is 16 lbs and its come off my belly first' as it was the biggest problem for me. Another mother from school saw me walking the kids to school and she said your stomach has shrunk :)) So happy :)) I carry mostly in the middle.
Also today I have to say is the first day I'm not starving at night' i had plain pasta with a little Olive oil + garlic for lunch ( I love pasta but plain' not cream sauces or meat) 80grams in total' well i didn't feel hungry again till 7pm tonight' so I had fruit and yogurt for dinner. Feels great!!!
