Just an fyi - after almost 3 years my band had ruptured - - I am now exploring my options and of course my surgeons been great!

Well I would like to credit God, and the fact that I did my homework, to say that today...  less then one week later I was approved for my Lap Band!!!

While I have no idea what to expect it will either be on July 16th or the 23rd.  I am super excited.. anxious.. and a little bit worried.

My mom once said " I dont want to have to tell my grandson that his mother died while trying to "look" better.  Ok, so that buigs me.  But then again, is it better to say.. sorry GS, your mom passed away because her heart couldnt handle how much she liked food and it hurt to exercize and play with you!!!!  Yikes!
The donside is that IM supposed to go with my family to San Diego on July 23rd for a few days.  Will I feel up to going?  I need answers... I need a hotline!  HELP!!!!

So now I need to know.. what to bring.. what protein to buy...  FEED me with information all you wise folks!!!

YAY... still in a buzz about it!!!  I am going to be free from the outer me.. let me out!  Im ready!

I am sitting and waiting week by week to see if the insurance company will approve me.  I have been lurking for a while and know the band is right for me.

My Dr has submitted the info to BCBS and now it goes to a preparer and then to review...  YIKES!!!


*** I still often wonder why an insurance company has the right to "trump" the dr's decisions that it is medically necessary...  HMMMM  ****
