<H3> My Surgery was CANCELED on May 3rd due to my Hemoglobin A1C Test was a 9, even though my blood sugar was 155, the Hemoglobin Test shows what your Blood Sugar has been for the last 3 months and the test needs to be an 8 or lower in order to have Surgery. I am disappointed but realize that I need to have my Blood Sugars stabilized be4 I undergo WLS. I have went to my PCP to have my dosage of Diabetic medication upped so I hopefully can get my Hemoglobin A1C test down to an 8, Thanks for all your kind and caring comments on my page!!</H3>

Brenda, Congrat's on your surgery. I went to BTC yesterday 05/10/02 and the nurses said I had missed you by 15 minutes of leaving. I had a follow-up visit with Dr.Leverton and it went great. Your sister in California was so right..You can get thru this, especially the emotional part. Remember I was having such a hard time?? Now, all is great, and I am so glad I had this surgery. Welcome home, and e-mail me if you want to talk. You helped me thru a hard time emotional when I had this surgery, and I want to be there for you!!!!!!!!!!!
