Shyama Rosenfeld

"Shyama Rosenfeld is the best doctor ever! I enjoy seeing her; she is not only my doctor, but a great friend. I am not sure, but, I think she is not taking new patients. However, they have several women docs (new) in the office and they have great PAC's! "

Carnation Instant Breakfast

"I used the chocolate CIB. I did get online and subscribe to their newsletter and they sent coupons through the mail which was nice. The Chocolate has 'No Sugar Added'--which I felt tasted good. I used this drink for the 2 week pre-op period-I had to drink 3 of these drinks per day for 2 weeks before surgery. Overall, it tasted good. (I used 1% milk with one pouch.) "

Chicken Soup Protein Powder

"I really like these protein powders. I can actually stomach them. Most seem powdery to me...but this mixes up nice. I use 1% milk in mine and drink in the mornings before the bus run. I thought Unjury's customer service was helpful, too. Overall, I felt this product has great taste for the money!"

West Virginia University Hospital

"I thought WVU/Ruby Memorial was awesome. The nurses in the WLS floor were good for the most part. I had two that gave me a hard time and needed to be moved to another unit. There was one who did exceptionally well. Her name is, "Rita". She was wonderful, sympathetic and loving. "

Stephen McNatt

"Went to a conference at WVU and met him later in the day. He is very professional. However, when I asked him a few questions on the side...he was very hospitable, kind, and educated. He seems to care.rnrnOn my first visit to his office at Ruby Memorial Hospital, my husband and I were treated nicely. He was all business... Some have said they do not like his bedside manner. Sure, I would like someone to be sympathetic and mushy...but I guess he's not into that. He's straight to the point. rnrnSince the surgery--I would rather have someone with his expertise than anything. I had 3 hernias that he repaired and all went well. My husband said I was on the table approximately 6 hours. The doctor visited each day and was optimistic about my recovery. He was concerned & asked important questions. I feel he did a great job on me and hope that I can do my part in the whole success! Anyway, if you have questions, you can contact his office at: 304-293-6386. Mary Ann is his bariatric surgery coordinator. I was impressed with the entire bunch. I had begun my journey in FairFax, Va at Inova Fair Oaks hospital; however, my insurance would not approve it. So, I went to Morgantown and this whole process was long, but, it was successful===so far! I rate Dr. McNatt a 10 (with 10 being the best); Mary Ann, the nutritionist--a 10 (w/ 10 being the best); the hospital care-a 5. They are short staffed, I think. The best nurse there was 'Rita'. She was awesome. Anyway, the surgeon was knowledgeable, nice, thorough, & had a nice personality."

Mary Anne Yanosik

"I have not had my surgery yet. Four weeks to go. Mary Ann is very knowledgeable. I gave her a surgery book from Fairfax (Inova) that I received while trying to get approved by my insurance. She was very helpful & really liked the idea that I brought the book. I thought it would help her with future patients. Hopefully, she'll be there for me during and after the surgery. "
