Jacobo Joffe

"I found Dr. Joffe to be very pleasant and soft spoken. Liz the receptionist was very blunt the first day I met her but very pleasant for our second conversation on the phone. Much to my surprise his office is very VERY small. The walls are covered in pictures his collegue has taken. Dr. Joffe was quite clear on the risks of this surgery. For the 15 or so minutes I spent with him, I came out pleased. POST-OP Dr. Joffe came to see me daily but it was usually an afternoon visit. Nurses would not tell me anything. He's an excellent surgeon and doesn't take those extra risks or shortcuts that other surgeons might and I highly respect him for that. Yes, it might be a discomfort for me for a few days (and I say this now after my tubes are out) but well worth waiting for safety. Bedside manner is wonderful... but doesn't hang out long. Who's to blame him though, he's a busy guy. :) I'm a very happy camper with my Doc. I do feel that he has surgical competence. He answered all my questions and actually drew me what he did to me. Made me understand exactly what happened in my tummy. Over all, I'm a happy girl!"
