Hello,
Yummy yummy Easter Sunday. I don't think I did too bad. Ham, deviled eggs, green beans, veggies and dip, mac-n-cheese made with low carb pasta, and for desert, fruit. I did graze through out the evening. No way Icould have ate all that at one sitting. My family had all this plus rolls with the ham and cheese cake. I smelled it but really didn't feel too deprived with the fruit.
I am suppose to be on vacation from work this week. However I still have school and work has already called once.
Been making it to the gym at least 3 times a week and doing 30 minutes on the elliptical or the treadmill. I am donw 2 pounds this week. I am almost afraid to log it....like its not real or its going to come right back. This is going to still be an everyday challenge for the rest of my life.
FYI - my one year labs were perfect.

HUNGRY!! one year check up

Had my one year check up today though I'm 14 months out. Things look great. Doc said I will know at my two year mark at about what I am going to "settle" out to. Then I go back to work at a pot luck lunch and stuffed myself....pretty much ate all afternoon. Now I did make it to the gym yesterday and today but I just felt like I was hungry. What is it that I am wanting? I don't want to fail but I wanted to graze. I know I have to keep myself busy somehow. I am at home with my kids now and want to continue to graze this evening. Where do people find their wills to keep on track? I had been doing it. Should I put my fat picture on the refrigerator? Do I call a friend for help like in AA? Do I chew gum? I am trying these things.
For breakfast I had one egg, lean ham, and some cheese...140 calories
For lunch over about 2 hours or so I had, two bowls of green beans with country ham (i brought the beans in hope of being good)
, several pieces of cheese (lost count) with wheat crackers, another cheese dip recipe with wheat crackers, 2 tortilla chips with sausage/cheese dip, spinach dip on celery-3 pieces, few veggies with ranch, and some fruit(pineapple, grapes, cantaloupe). I did avoid all deserts unless you count the fruit...who knows the calories/it was like I was trying to be carb conscious and then just track...i felt so weak
For Dinner 1 slice of deli flat with 1 tbsp peanut butter and 1/2 banana, ate another tbsp of peanut butter with rest of banana without bread, 4 regular reduced fat crackers with 2% cheese, slice of ham wrapped around a pickle. around 460 calories
I know what I have to do. I am hopipng this is just a random day of weakness and that the exercise helped me some with the intake. I don't want to beat myself up but I don't want to create bad behaviors. I know I have felt this way in the past.
Has anyone tried the 5 day pouch test? I am going to post a discussion. I feel like I need intervention. Please excuse me for sounding crazy today....

Monday weigh in - TT consult tomorrow

Monday I weighed in at 129.6lbs. I am pleased. I so hope I don't gain weight back!! I am freaking myself out.
So I changed my goal!! I lowered it from 140 to 130 since now I have reached that and I would like to stay around there. I need new clothes desparately. I have a TT consult tomorrow. Will let you know how that goes. I can at least find out costs and what this guy can do. He is not board certified but I have had many many women say he is awesome. So his consult is free so I thought I'd check it out. Yahoo!!!
Already got my three days in at the gym....may go for fourth day tomorrow. Only doing cardio but its working or so it seems. I get in 30 minutes either on treadmill or elliptical. I do that thing where you workout kinda normal for 4 minutes and then you pick up speed for a 1-2 minutes.

My weight is back down one pound. It is so scarey to even think about gaining the weight back!! I am under so much stress at work, school, my kids school, finances, eating, drinking, my dog was bit by the neighbors dog for the second time and got a second raging infection!! I am going nuts! I need a spa day or something to relax and clear my mind.

I am up 1.4 pounds this week. I didn't work out. We have had back to back blizzards and I have been lazy. I have also had what my mother calls "a straight gut and a big toe!" I can't seem to feel very full or satisfied lately. I have been drinking with my meals and I know this is wrong. I dont want to create bad habits for myself already after I have done so well.
Breakfast - egg mcmufin no muffin
Snack - bag of sunchips - shame on me
Lunch - bowl of vegetable soup
Another snack - green beans and then a small bag of pork rinds.
I think out of what I've had the sunchips were the worst because of the carbs but I feel hungry. I didn't pack my lunch I ate what they had here at work. I need to have some more protein on hand to eat. I like beef jerky, cheese and almonds but don't want to over do it either by having too much laying around.
I hope to go to the gym this evening because they are calling for more snow in the morning!!

I lost 4 pounds this week. I'm not sure why. I looked back over the week and watched carbs and continued to exercise. I only did 2 days. I wonder if I am dehydrated and the weight will pop back next week or not move. I'm glad I lost I was just surpised it was so much.
In one year I lost 125.2 pounds!!!
If you include the 8 pounds I lost before surgery I lost 133.2 pounds lost....I lost half of myself!!

Yahoo! I lost 1.8 this week. I had only lost a pound over the past 3 weeks. I exercised more this week. I walked/jogged on the treadmill for 30 minutes three days. I'm glad I did. I will have to keep it up.
Bad thing Friday I got an IUD and it was the worst!! I had terrible pain and just about jumped off the table!! They said it was because my uterus was small, lining thin (because I was having my period), and my cervix/uterus was tilted. They gave no pain meds!! I can't take ibuprofen!! Luckily I have pain med leftover from surgery However it didn't help much because it HURT!!! They are going to have to knock me out to take this thing out. I am still having cramps today!!

Hello,
I am almost to my one year mark. Feeling great but nervous about weight returning. I am eating more and trying to be more conscious of what I buy at the store and put in my mouth. I am considering buying a treadmill. The closest gym to my house is about 20 minutes away. I feel like if I had the treadmill at home I would use it more because there would be more opportunity.
HW263.2/SW255.2/CW136/GW140 - My goal weight was 140. I am at a point where I would like to see how much further I can go. I would love to be 125-130. I am going to call for a plastics consult today!! I have no money and my credit is bad but I can dream....I need to start playing the lottery.

Lost 118.2 since surgery
Lost 126.2 since highest weight
Current weight 137 pounds. I have lost almost half of myself!!!
I am so glad I did RNY. I am still very nervous about gaining weight back. Had my appt with doctor on 12/9. He opted not to do labs since mine have been perfect..yahoo!! He told me to keep doing what I am doing but over the next 3-6 months the weight loss would stop. He also said not to consider plastics until 18 months out. I am drinking diet sodas again. Still mixing it up with tea and some crystal light. I had christmas this past weekend at my moms and ate and grazed all weekend. I was surprised I lost a pound. I wonder if it will catch up with me next week ;-0
Hope everyone else is doing great. I still haven't been exercising. My friend has a treadmill for sale and I want to buy it so bad!! My husband works construction and business has been slow or null.

I only lost 0.6 of a pound this week.
I still haven't got back to the gym...shame on me!
