well everbody I am home now everything went good I am still pretty sore but what a differance a day makes Dr said everything went good well i will type more later when i feel up to it

Well I had my pre-op apptment today that went good they just wanted to make sure all the I's dotted and T's crossed only six days till they cut me open got to admit I got allot of butterfies

Well a nurse from my Dr. office called me today to schedule my sugary and she ask if there were any dates I would not work for me I told here any time after the 7th of June because my wife is out of town till then she said OK how about the 14th of June I said OK while thinking holly smokes that's not far away then the butterflies came and they haven't left yet Oh well I guess I will just have to hold on for the ride talked to my boss today and it looks like next wed. will be my lst day of work until the 5th of July

Well I found out today that I got denied the sleeve for the second time I kind of expected that I told the Dr. office to go with the RNY then which is the procedure I originally was going for so I not that disappointed so hopefully I will get a date next week I will keep you updated when I find out

Well finally got the letter I have been waiting for and It had bad news and good news the bad news is that they denied me the sleeve which I was pretty bummed out about but they approved me for the RNY so I called my insurance coordinator and she said It did not sound correct so she called the insurance company and found out that they used the wrong BMI for me they did not use my biggest BMI so she resubmitted it and she putt a rush on it at this point I don't really care what one I get I just want to get it over with o-well whats one more week

Well I did my multi-disciplinary day today and everything went good the Dr. said I was a pretty straight and forward case all my test came back good so the only thing left is to wait for insurance approval and the resin I am waiting for insurance yet is the fact that I changed my mind and decided to try to get approval for the sleeve half way through my journey so here I am with nothing left to but wait I hope I don't have to wait that long.

well I had a bunch of testing done on fri had to get up at 8:00am after working till 3:30 am the night before got to the hospital had to get blood taken then went for chest x-ray and from there I had to the barium testing if you have done it you know that stuff tastes like %&$@ and they make you drink it after fasting for twelve hours and then you have to move in all different directions while drinking it I thought I was going to puke and after all that fun I had to go get an EKG that was a piece of cake but its done and I am glad that is all of my complaining for today.

well I went to my second nutrition appointment and it went pretty well I didn't get in as much trouble as I thought I would however she did ask me why I was going for RNY and not the sleeve gastrectomy and I told her I thought my insurance didn't cover it and she said with a BMI as hi as mine that I would qualify so now I am not sure what to do I have preparing for RNY I guess I will have to go back and do some research on the sleeve and way the options if anyone has any advise let me know.

well I have my 2nd nutrition appointment hopefully I will feel like I got more out of this one than the first appointment I will probably get in trouble because I have not been vary good about watching what I am eating mostly because of having to quite chewing tobacco but I think I am over the hard part and now I feel I can get down to business.  She also wanted me to document what I am eating but I am having a had time with that because I am not a very organized person I have not found a very effective way for me to keep track that will work for me I will figure something out I guess

Well I just got back from the dentist had to get a filling but let me tell you it was not the most comfortable the dentists exam chair is not made for big people my feet dangled off the end and the chair was so narrow that may arms could not fit on the arm rest so there for had to try and hold my arms up while they worked on me it was kind frustrating oh well I'm done complaining hopefully next time I go I wont have that issue.    Nick
