"I met Dr. Gaar on Feb. 14th for my consultation. I was impressed with him, I found that he takes his work seriously and is very careful about who he accepts. I must admit I was nervous but excited upon leaving his office. A piece of me wanted the surgery and the other piece of me said, "No way!" After several weeks of thinking it over and realizing I am slowly killing myself. I have 2 little girls and I want to be around for them. I will do anything to save my life for them. Dr. Gaar's office is small but comfy and his secretary, Susan, is nice and knows her stuff. I go for my testing on the 21st of March and I've already been approved by my insurance company. Susan thought that was too cool. Update: Dr. Gaar has absolutely wonderful bedside manners and does a beautiful job of encouraging me along my journey. When I see him at his office, he makes you feel as if you are so important and that you are important to him as well. Having a great surgeon who truly shows he cares as enabled me to keep up my positive attitude."
