" PRE-OP: What a nice guy! He is very soft spoken and talks really fast! You really need to pay attention to him when he speaks to you or you will miss important information. Very very nice. He informed me of all of the risks and what WLS can do for me as far as my co-morbs. He has been doing this surgery since 1998 with one death (not related to surgery). His office staff seemed very nice. we will have to see when I start bugging them to see if they sent the Medicaid stuff in. So far I would highly recommend him. I think he was worth the almost 4 hour drive to get there! Will update more on him later POST-OP: I still stand by my decision of Dr. Kermode. I didnt see him a lot but when I did he was very nice. I saw two of his PA's. I didnt mind talking to them. I know he is a pretty busy guy. He did a wonderful job as far as I can tell. I would definately recommend him."

"The hospital was equipped with a bariatric bed in a private room. I was at the very end of the hall next to the waiting area....It tended to get a little noisy over the weekend. The staff was the greatest. I never ever had to wait for any kind of pain meds....they were so nice. I couldnt believe how nice they all were. And so understanding. Everyone had a great sense of humor and very friendly. I would go back there in a heartbeat. "
