He had a wonderful personality and seems to show a sincere concern for his patients and tells you exactly what to do each step of the way and what I can expect.rnI would recommend him to anyone interested in bariatric surgery or even learning more about bariatric surgery.rnOne thing people need to know is that the doctor is not available to telephone questions but can get questions answered by by the doctor via a medical assistant. (this was my experience)rnHe does require an aftercare program that is sturctured including visits,and being active in the aftercare program. rnrnI am 3 years out of surgery and I have recommended Dr. Rodriguez to numerous people. He is (in my opinion) on of the best in his field! If you are looking for a Dr. that REALLY CARES who not only operates but also teaches ...Dr. Jorge Rodriguez is an excellent choice!"
"In general my experience was horrible. The surgeon I had is very skilled and I am pleased with his work, however the hospital needs to see that these nurses are universally trained..ie sending me to a test the day after surgery with damgling tubing and the cardiac monitor dangling. An Aide disconnected the extras and taped me up before Itripped on the hanging mass. I am not aware if the following is usual ocurrances for dismissal...I was sent home with a temp of 100 and spitting up bloody phlem."
