Please note:  We have changed our meeting day to the 2nd Monday of each month.  Apparently some of our people have difficulty meeting on the 2nd Tuesday.

We will meet next week on Monday, September 10th.

Hi Folks,

Please join us July 10th for our monthly meeting.  We are going to have a few samples food you can eat at different stages of our journey.

Happy New Year All!

With the start of a new year, we are going to make a few changes to our support group.  

First is our meeting place.  We will now be meeting the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Evergreen Church on Dolly Parton Parkway.  Still start at 6:30pm til 8.  The meeting will be help in Classroom C, which is the building behind the main sanctuary with the gravel parking lot.

Second, I am going to have guest speakers whenever possible,  starting with our January meeting.  We will have Steve Robinson, NSF-CPT, giving us some pointers on exercising.  Steve is a certified personal trainer and leads classes on Plus Size Group Fitness, Tai Chi, and weight loss management.  I know we will learn a lot from him.

Let’s jump into this new year with a renewal of the excitement and  determination that we had at the beginning of this journey to a healthier, happier person.

Dear Friends,

We will not be meeting in December and I am looking for another meeting place. The hospital has so many functions, we keep getting bounced to different days and weeks.  It is amost impossible to let everyone know when we are meeting each month.

I will keep you informed and let you know as soon as possible about our meeting in January.

Don't forget our meeting on Monday, the 17th.  We will be bringing our favorite post-op recipes.  We will make copies and get them to everyone.  You can make samples to share, if you wish.  6:30 to 8pm.  See you then.  Nancy
