I am 47 years old and a mother of 2, with 1 grandson who is 3 years old and my human treadmill. I have been on the road to gastric surgery since 2004 but other health problems prevented me from having the surgery then. Iam back on track again and hope to get my lapband sometime in march 2008. I have a long family history of diabetes, high blood pressure and heart problems thru out my family and I really want to avoid these. Ireally looking forward to more energy.
