Hello everyone! I have been reading sooooo many wonderful stories that I just can't wait to tell my own. Well, first things first. I am married (twice) have 2 grown children and 1 four month old grand-daughter at the young age of 47. I'm one of those people pleasers always trying to make everyone else happy except myself. So, in 2006 I said enough, it's My time! I have been trying to lose weight for over 20 years, you know how it is, lose 5lbs, gain 25lbs. I've always felt you have to WORK HARD to lose weight, so this surgery stuff wasn't for me. And work hard I did, I went swimming, I walked 5 days a week for 6 months I lost inches, but somehow I still end up weighing 300lbs. Now that I have read so many stories I see that the HARD WORK begins after the surgery, and that this truly is a life changing experience. I have lived all of my life as a BIG GIRL, so I'm ready to see how the little girls live. Please welcome me into the circle. Keep me in your prayers as I will keep you in mine. God Bless,
