So close to a new you and so many emotions! I haven't had mine yet but am hoping for this summer. My thoughts are with you before,during, and after. Keep up with the posts. They do help. With each reply you get there are 10 others you have helped or touched in some form or way. Listen to your peers and mostly your Dr. and support group. they know what you need. I'll be watching for those updated posts!

This is only the beginning of a wonderful treasure hunt. You ask me what is this great treasure? "Will it make me happy?" You ask. Oh, let me tell you it is something so wonderful and will be better than you have ever dreamed of. "What is it you ask?" It is the new healthier you. It will give you opportunities you have only dreamed of and ability to do things with loved one you have yearn for. I am so happy for you. Heal fast. Your new you is waiting for you.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. ... Gal. 5 vs.............................. Freedom...freedom to move..freedom to do the things that we were not able to do for so long...freedom to live.................................. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Eph 3.16..................................... Power..now you have the power to be stregnthen yourself. Be empowered! go out and encourage those that need to be encourage. those who are thinking about wls... share you journey with others so that they too can become empowered and....................................... In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. .............................. Give praise to the heavenly Father that has watched over you!! He has kept you through these procedures and has kept you safe. He has enabled you to over come this issue of weight and will allow you to shine... shine line the light you are!!! and....................................... Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor. Gal. 6 and.................... share the good news that has been shared with you.. tell everyone about your jounery...every detail share.... so that others will learn and be empowered... And finally give praises to the heavenly Father who kept you from all harm... He is a mighty Good God!!......................... Blessings..Thea

Mrs. C, I think most of us experience it... what to do about it: pray, pray pray, pray for peace, pray for His hand on your and your surgeon, then rest in His comfort. God bless, Mary
