not enough fat

Well...I went to see my kids this weekend....had an awesome time...as usual 
But on Saturday nite...I was coming downstairs at my sons house...I must have been tired...cause I slipped and fell onto my butt and elbow on the stairs...OUCH !!!!!!
Anyways...I am ok ..very bruised ...But since I have lost all the weight I didnt have enough fat to protect me !!!!
I actually got very sick to my stomach and felt very light headed..got a bit of a headache...but took some Tylenol and went to bed about 1 hour later...I woke up kinda sore and had a case of diarrhea...dont know if the fall had anything to do with that....
Anyways the next day when i had to drive for 2 1/2 hours home...My Butt was killing me ...feeling better by the day....
So...the moral of my story is...Ladies and gentlemen....Dont fall after WLS....IT HURTS !!!
WE DONT HAVE ENOUGH FAT TO PROTECT US !!!!!!!

90 lbs gone........

Well I thought i was done loosing....But stepped on the scale this morning and to my amazement I weighed in at 130lbs....HOLY COW !!!!!!!!! 
I am doing the happy dance !!
That is 90 lbs lost in just over a year....
I dont think that I could ever find the words to express how I feel without repeating myself...cause it is unbelievable...And i also feel amazing as far as my health too.....

Back from the Dr.

Well I am back from the Drs. visit...It went very well....
I guess i have lost 72% of my weight....WOW !!!!!
I am ahead of schedule from what the average is....YEAH !!!!
I guess my goal weight is actually 135lbs....
And from the scales at the Drs office i weigh 142lbs
I do like my scales a lot better...LOL !!!!!!
But by there calculations i am only 7lbs away from my goal weight
and by mine i am 11lbs away !!!
So I will give and take and just say that I was very very happy how my visit went....
I also forgot to say that I have a wedding to go to this weekend...and I havent seen a few of the people since my surgery....I am very excited to show off the new me....I will post pics as soon as i can

Today at 2pm is my 1 year out Dr. appointment...I am actually nervous and excited...Dont know why ????
Anyways I ad my blood work done last week and cant wait to see what they have to say ....
I will post again sometime this week and keep you updated ....

Today is my 1 year Surgery Anniversary.....WOW !!!!! 
What a difference a year makes.....
I can still remember the week leading up to today like it was last week....
Every time the phone would ring i thought it was the hospital calling to cancel....
Even the morning of my Surgery i thought they were gonna cancel ...
And look at me know.....88lbs lighter and down from size 22w to a size 10...with more energy than i know what to do with...lol
Anyways hope you all have a Happy Easter....and a great weekend

5 day pouch test update

So...Today was the first day after the 5 day pouch test....WOW !!!! What a wake-up call !!!
I really didnt notice how you can fall back to your old eating habbits that fast...I didnt...dont panic !!!!...just taking a look back at what I was eating to what I ate this last week...sometimes forgetting the protein first....
So...as far as from now on...when I wake up I am making a menu for myself for the day and sticking to it.....I think that will help...
I also realised that I need to add more fluids to my diet....I was about 20 oz short of what I should be getting....
So...if you feel that you need a refresher course...or wake up call go to the wb site in my last Blog and it will tell you all about the 5 day Pouch test...

Well as i was surffing the web i came across a site for a 5 day pouch test.....As I read more into it...I felt that I needed to do it....Soooooo I am just finishing the first day...I didnt realise that sometimes during the day I eat because i am bored...not hungry.....BAD BAD BAD !!!
So tomorrow is day 2....I feel like I am doing ok....It makes you re-think about your eating habbits again....
Not eating anything bad just got off track with the whole eating when not hungry....
I will keep you updated with the results

Hey Guys...Sorry its been s long since i blogged....
Everything is going good here in Ohio...Slowed down on loosing pounds but still going down on my size...I think in about another month i will be in a size 10 form a W22...YEAH !!!!!!
Married life is wonderfull and my husband thinks I look beautiful...he calls me skinny minnie !!! He He He
So...like i said not much going on around here...cant wait for spring.....But enjoying the snow and lots of snuggle time with my hubby

Well it has been a month since I wrote on this blog...And boy do I have some news...
First let me ask how everyone made it during the first rush of holiday eating...I did ok...
Second of all hope your holidays were as good as mine...
My boyfriend of 3 years asked me to marry him on Thanksgiging day in front of all his family and my son.....
OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!
I am so happy and I was so surprised......
So now i have to plan the happy day....
I cant wait to go dress shopping...nothing real fancy...but I am actually excited about shopping for a dress to get married in...
