I think I first looked into this surgery about 3 years ago. Knew that I needed to make some changes and wanted to explore this option. My friend had the surgery years prior, before it became more mainstream. I thought it was out of the question then, but here I am.
I think fear is my issue. I guess the fear of complications from surgery has stopped me in my tracks each time I started and stopped the process. And as the years have passed since my first orientation class, I have gain probably about 80+ lbs. I feel now is truly the time for me to go forward and realize that I need to be confident in this choice to change myy life
