Thanks for the positve note.  Hope to hear from the insurance co this week. I know if I get approved it will be an uphill drive from there, but having support from groups, friends and family help it will be a lot easier.

Just heard from Amy, in charge of getting my insurance approved.  Yea!  I am pre pre-approved.  I need to call my insurance next week to make sure all is well.    After waiting more than a year since my first consultation with my surgeon, and in that year six months of seeing my internist, I've turned 65 and am anxious about the surgery.  I'm in good health except for being overweight with slightly high blood pressure.  My husband needs more and more care because of his diabetes and swelling in his feet and legs and his weight.  I'm looking forward  to taking care of him without being so much out of breath and being so tired all the time.  Yes, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.  I'll keep telling myself this.
