Maryvale

"Overall the wonderful nursing staff and my private room made my stay much more pleasant. One nurse out of 5 had to be sorted out, once he realized he wasn't God in my eyes or my familys', he never spoke to us again, which made the stay that much more pleasant.--I had life-Dr. Simpson is all jokes and has a bedside manner of Dr. Pierce on MASH, but truth be told, he's one of the best doctor's I've ever seen. When he needs to be serious, he tells it you straights, mentally holds your hand, and saves your life, and that's what he did for me! I love him and I think he's awesome! I think Maryvale Hospital is the luckiest hospital in all of Phoenix to have the the doctor's and nurses dedicated to their worked and the patients that pass through those particular doors."

Terry Simpson

"I have nothing to say negative about the man. He really brightens the room. I am still pre-op, hopefully not for much longer. I am having the daily specialty, the biliopacreatic diversion with duodenal switch. He did try to talk me out of it at all, but did want me to know all of my options. At first, I was a little put-off by his price above and beyond with the insurance company charges me. But then I learned that all of the Phoenix WLS surgeons do that. Terry doesn't treat any of his patients like their stupid, and he acts like every questions is the first time he's heard it and is very genuine. I'd recommend him to anyone. I am sure my feelings po-op will only improve! His staff is very nice, and all of the patients that attent his support group love him! That tells he's a great doctor. Last week, was standing-room-only for about 20 mins, there was so many people there."
