6 Days Post-Op

It's been six days post-op and I'm having some sharp pain today. It's these jolts of sharp pain like something is scrapping me inside and it hurts really bad. It just started today but I've been very busy and moving around alot since the day after surgery. They wanted me to walk, so I'm walking, bending and getting around really well until today. My surgeon Dr. Kuhn was really kind and my hospital stay was really good and the nurse was so kind that I gave her a big hug before I was discharged. I've lost some weight but none that I can tell just from the scale only. God Bless Holla

Wow, I only have 2 days to surgery and I feel so freakin' hungry due to this liquid diet. I had some relapse during this 7 day liquid fast but I'm back on track and how I do I count the commericals over and over of all the food. LOL
Anyway, my family is and has been very supportive and I'm ever to grateful to God that my sister and brother-in-law are home. Their in the Navy and will be leaving soon for three years in Japan. Lord know's I'll miss them so much.
I'm trying to prepare myself mentally for the road that's ahead and I also have my pep's who are supportive and encouraging and who are already on the same road as the one I'm about to begin with WLS.
On the good note, I totally look forward to the things that I couldn't enjoy during my childhood and young adolescence. My goals begin so very simple but so high on my list of things that I desire to do and achieve. My first stop is Six Flags - Every roller coaster that I couldn't fit in before from open to close time . Second, SpeedZone - drive in every go cart that I couldn't fit my big butt and hips into. Third, CROSSING MY LEGS, OH MY GOD.
These are the beginning moments of my new life that I pray to enjoy and cry with joy and thanking God for it all.

4 Days Before Surgery

I have 4 days to surgery and I'm going to be okay. I know this surgery is for my life and my health and my future family that I pray to be blessed to have someday.
I encourage all to look forward to the things you could't do with all the weight and health problems. Praise God for He is GOOD because that's what I'm doing and simply because He IS.
