Had surgery Monday, Oct. 16.
Probably went into the hospital @ ~297 lbs after a two week pre-op diet.
Spent three nights in the hospital. Two were expected, the third was because I had a small fever that wouldn't go away. My JP drain had slowed significantly, so I was able to ditch that before I left. Much of my post op pain went away when it did. No pain meds after I left except one dose right before bed the first night home.
Today - Day 7 - 282 lbs = 29 lbs lost since before pre-op diet (3 weeks)

Completed Upper GI, Pulmonary test, and Gallbladder ultrasound
results being sent to Dr. Mason
Pulmonary nurse was a Gastric Bypass patient. Nice to meet someone who went thru it. Psych. test this afternoon.

I will try and get a surgery date scheduled tomorrow.

I guess this is the official start of my weight loss jouney.
Starting from a weight of 307 as measured at home when I got up.
