Emotions: still depressed.
Goal: didn't make it this week. In fact, had a gain.
I wish I could blame it on TOM, but I don't think I can.
Blah.
This week will be better. I will get these blues under control and see some progress again.

Went to gym yesterday. I have been going during my lunch hour. It seems to work out fairly well. My eating has been on target the last few days, but I still fear what the scale will say tomorrow morning. I feel heavier. Still have not shaken the blues. I plan to go to the gym during my lunch hour today as well.

Still sore from spinning. Yesterday was the worst. I did make it to the gym yesterday, I was trying to stretch out my sore muscles. It didn't seem to help much yesterday, but I am feeling better today.
I have been down in teh dumps the last two days. Maybe it is from being so sore, but emotionally I am feeling depressed. I feel like giving up. Just accepting where my weight is now. I know I have 30 more pounds to lose, but all of the sudden I feel defeated. Even with my last two weeks of success. Don't know why I am feeling so emotional.
Anyway, I will check in later.

Went to a spin class yesterday. It kicked my butt. I was so sore this morning I was unable to make it to the gym today. YIKES! It hurts to walk up stairs. But, I loved it at the time! Lol.

So, you will notice that I lost 2.2 lbs this week, 0.3 lbs short of meeting the 2.5 lb a week goal. However, I am still ahead of my planned weight loss since I lost 5 lbs last week. I am really excited. I feel like I may actually be able to reach my goal by April. I am just taking it one week at a time and within that week, one day at a time... moment to moment.
Good news, my husband and I are rearranging our house. Moving our bedroom to the downstairs bedroom, moving my sons to our old room, etc... well, this means that I will have an extra empty room. We are making it a fitness room. My children are very active in sports (Tae Kwon Do, Baseball, etc) and this will provide them a place to practice and condition while allowing me a place to workout at home when I am unable to go to the gym. Hate to repeat myself, but I am super excited! Now I just have to make order out of the chaos he created in moving everything at once. Still, completed our bedroom last night and it looks amazing.
I was able to go to the gym this morning and I am full of energy. I have not even had my morning coffee yet and still the energy is flowing through me. I want to go dancing this weekend. I hope I can make it happen.

No gym this morning. My friend called late last night and needed a ride into work (thankfully he and I work within the same building) but it meant having to forgo my ususal morning gym routine. I will have to find something at home to do tonight.
Let's recap my goal: lose an average of 2.5 lbs each week in order to be at goal by 4/18. Last week I lost 5 lbs, which put me a little ahead of the game. However, I am determined to still lose another 2.5 lbs this week and keep ahead of the game. Last friday I was at 179.8, tomorrow I need to reach 177.3 to have lost 2.5 lbs. This morning I was at 178.2 lbs. I weigh in early tomorrow morning, so cross your fingers for me!

You know I was just thinking, I hope I don't annoy all my OH friends by posting small updates everyday. It helps me keep honest about my progress. So, sorry my posts are ususally nothing exciting, but it makes me accountable.
Went to the gym this morning. Did my cardio and I am starting to add weights back into my routine. I think I will do weights Tuesdays and Thursdays to start. My main focus is still cardio with weight loss and that will be done everyday, except maybe Sundays. I am sure I will be slightly sore tomorrow. I also know that I will not be in the gym tomorrow as it is Wednesday. I will have to find something at home to do. Maybe I should pick up a cardio workout on DVD for Wednesdays in the future. We'll see.

Made it to the gym this morning, finally. Though, my workout was not as long as normal. I had to run a few errands early this morning. Eating was not on track yesterday, but will be much better today. I know whenever I go to my parents house that there is a ton of 'garbage' food I shouldn't eat. I was stuck there all day yesterday doing a favor for my sister and in the end had some cookies and a small piece of cake, plus my mom made dinner... pasta! Ugh. Anyway. Back on track today. One moment will not define me.

Alright! Met my goal for this week. Actually, I met my goal for next week as well. Lol!
I still didn't make it to the gym. Stupid snow.
However, I have been eating really well.
I also got a super cute haircut too!

Snow storm put a stop to my going to the gym today. I will attempt to get some activity in by taking the kids sledding. The temps may drop too low for that, but we will have to see.
My abs are sore from excercising. Yikes, even hurts to laugh.
It is a little better this morning, though.
