Carrie, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had it several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. My best wishes are on the way to you. I hope your surgery goes smoothly and that you have a problem free recovery. May all the "surgery angels" swoop down to surround you and protect you. My husband and I both had wls in 2001 and have lost a total of 280 lbs, we both have about 50 more to go. It will work for you if you work with it.
