UPDATE AFTER CRUISE
Mar 07, 2009
Hi everyone. Wanted to report in after my cruise. When I departed my weight was at 186.4 when I got on the scale after returning home I was 182.6...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. I want you to know that I had no trouble finding proper food choices and was far more active than when I am at home. After being home a few days my weight is presently down to 179.2!!! I was so concerned what my experience would be like since I was just 3 months out but let me encourage anyone considering this vacation.
I passed on all the wonderful bread but I was rewarded with more choices of protein and fruits and vegetables than I could count at each and every meal. I did bring protein bars and crystal lite individual packets with me.
Hope this news encouragese others.
2 months out now!
Jan 13, 2009
Well here I am two months out and had the experience I was so hoping for. Surgery went smooth and I have been having a strong recovery. Inspite of Rheumatoid arthritis and steroids I am achieving weight loss right on target. I feel so blessed.
I have been able to eliminate CPAP machine with oxygen, cholesterol meds, some steroids, and all labs are looking wonderful.
I take my Celebrate Vitamins faithfully and I am usually succesful at getting my protein in daily. I have even reached goals for fluid intake also.
I am going on a cruise in one month and will be able to be a few sizes smaller than last time. I expect there will be a vast variety of appropriate food choices for me. And I will feel so much better than in the past.
I have gotten a lot of valuable information and support from the folks on this site continue to use it daily.
