Welcome Kathy!! You will find all sorts of great people here to talk to, laugh with, cry with and just plain listen. Here's the great thing you'll find everyone has been in your shoes at one point in our journey's. Some of us are pre surgery, some of us have had surgery, and some of us have attained our goal. But wherever people are they are always willing to listen and talk about their experiences. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago this Monday. The weeks up to my surgery this site was invaluable. Sometimes I didn't email I just read different profiles to listen to other's experiences. Then when the time was right I started up conversations with several people who after a few months I consider dear friends. So keep coming back feel free to contact anyone with questions. We are all in this together! I pray that you find a smooth and safe journey as you walk through learning about surgery. God Bless,

Welcome to AMOS. You'll find loving caring peers who are all struggling with obesity. Take some time to read the message board and the site Library so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not WLS is for you. Good luck on your Journey.

Kathy welcome to the AMOS board.. join the crowd, most on here if not all started out over weight so you are in good company that dont judge.. at least I never say any judgemental post unless someone asked for it.. you have made the first step in admitting the problem.. now research and learn all you can about wls.. good luck and God bless.
