So today is the day -- 199.8, less than 200, for the first time since my surgery!!!

So today I am 201.0. Last week I weighed 202.2, so that is a 1.2 pound loss.
I was really hoping to be less than 200 this week, but now maybe next week.
1.2 is ok, though. Better than gaining weight.
Off we go for another week -- this "proves" to me that today I will have to exercise today, when I thought about skipping it due to no time since Mere's concert is tonight.

Memorial Day Monday

Happy Memorial Day! Today I am 202.2 -- inching ever closer to being below 200!!! Maybe next week.....
Last week I was 206.2, so that is 4 pounds lost this week. Exercise is key. I didn't do all that much this past week, but I think it keeps things revved up.
Maybe now that my room is cleaner / neater / better organized, I can exercise in here better. And all my bigger clothes are gone! I don't t think I have any women sized clothes, and I am pretty much a 16 for bottoms all around. And some shirts are size large -- most are XL, though.
Less than 50 pounds to lose before my goal of 155 -- 47.2 pounds to be exact. I have no idea if this is a good goal or not -- it's not my surgeon's goal. I just sort of decided on that number arbitrarily --like, at what number would I feel thin? And that was it.

So, it's Tuesday, and I didn't post yesterday that I was 206.2!!
Last week I was 209.2, so that looks like 3 pounds last week. All very good and wonderful.
The pilates, I've slacked on that. But I did meet with Ruth and have a plan. And I walked last night. It probably averages 3 times a week, the exercise. I think I need to focus more on strength training on my arms. Maybe buy some free weights this week -- on sale at Target. And crunches!
So, another week down -- inching along.
Oh -- I did my meausurements and weight over the weekend, too -- I know I lost 11.2 pounds last month! And 4.5 inches overall. All positive.

Monday weigh in: 209.2.
Last week: 211.4.
So that is respectable. No Pilates today -- lunch date with Vicki instead. Maybe a walk tonight. Or after lunch and I'll still be able to go to group, who knows?
I will make an appointment for a fitness assessment and ask Ruth from Wellness to set up a home workout routine as well as a gym one. That is a goal for this week.
I will walk 3 times this week and go to at least one class (Pilates on Friday?)

Funny to look back...

I've been exercising -- walking a few times a week in the evening, and trying to get to Pilates once a week.
It's funny to look back and see how far I've come in such a short time. Just a few months ago, my posts were saying, in the 230's now....and soon I'll be less than 200!!
I am going to get some weights -- and do sit ups at home. Weights for upper arm work. Probably affordable in the middle of the month. Sit ups I can start now. Pushups, too, I guess.

Last week I lost 4.2 pounds. Today I am 211.4.
I exercised more last week than I have been but not as much as I would have liked. So this week's exercise goal is to do the Pilates class today, do one other gym class this week (maybe the Friday Pilates class) and to walk for an hour at the park 3 other times. That's 5 times of exercise.
I tried on a bunch of clothes yesterday -- some are too big!
Off we go on another week.

Holy cow -- up 2 pounds from last Monday. :-(

I am going to weigh myself on the month anniversary, so on the 16th of each month, as well as every Monday.
It's averaging about 10 pounds a month right now -- woot!
I am going to a pilates class today. I need to step up the exercise. That is my new goal -- exercise class at least 3x a week.
