I am getting a little nervous now...my surgery is Wednesday...2 days away..I talked to my sister this morning and she told me you would be crazy not to be nervous this is a major surgery. She said just stay focused and keep your eye on the prize. For me that would be no more CPAP machine or Cholesterol meds and no more achy knees and back. I will be glad when I am on the other side. I also know I would never lose 100 lbs without this surgery. I obviously am a terrible dieter. So I will try to stay focused and remember why I am doing this. I have 4 dogs that are looking forward to more walks ...

I am 50 Years old and I have set my mind to have this surgery. My brother had it 9 years ago and my sister had it 6 years ago. Both of them are doing great. I have several health issues that I am hoping that this surgery is going to help. I have severe sleep apnea, High Cholesterol and bad knee's to name a few. I am always tired and I get winded easy. I just want to feel good again, getting into a size 8 would be a bonus :)
