Lost 56 to date, 56 to go! (12 weeks)
Every day I notice another NSV, Im more amazed with each one.
Going to Kohls today to get some bras and a new outfit for the gym, maybe sneakers too if they are on sale. Heck I might even splurge on a girdle :) (Kohls is the only cc I have with room on it otherwise Id probably go to Macy's)
My body fat percentage dropped 7% since I joined the gym 12/20. Wish I knew what it was before I started losing.
A couple weeks ago I bought a sweater in an 18 thinking it would fit soon, I tried it on at home and it fit! I also bought a sweater dress in a 14/16. That is my Easter goal. I cant remember the last time I wore a dress :(

Countdown
Oct 18, 2011
I got my date today... October 27. Late notice so I have to start 2 weeks liquid tomorrow.
The doctor gave me a prescription for Percoset for after the surgery.. Wow, that made it all real.
I didnt think I would be nervous, Ive been waiting for a long time and am very excited about this.
But apparently, the thought of never eating again is scary. Of course I realize I will eat again, just not the same as before surgery. Which is actually a good thing.
The biggest hurdle will come after the weightloss when I have to start eating normally... hopefully I can do the normally part!

Decision

I am struggling with deciding on which surgery, VS or RNY.
I like the idea of the VS and not having malabsorption issues but I am worried about gerd. I assume it will go away when I lose weight but what if it gets worse?
