 in one week i will be making a big decision.  i will be attending the seminar with  my aunt. the person that has gone with me to all of my appointments.  i wonder how they will explain the process.  I'm excited.  now I'm imaging my self in new clothes and being much happier.  i also think that it will help me in the long run  with my career in accounting and real estate.  currently I'm going to college and thank god i passed my humanities class.  i think that this is my year because allot of good things have happened to me.  first i get my financial aid from college reinstated and i get an "A" on my class,  and have felt much better about myself.  i hope that by July or august i could get my surgery.  and that by next year i could have lost around 50-70 lbs before i can visit my family in Colombia.  i want to give them the biggest surprise in their life.  A NEW ME!!!

hi! I'm sorry i haven't been here for almost 2 months!.  i have great news.  on April2,2010 i will have my first appoinment with my general doctor.  i still need to know which doctor i have next the nutritionist or the phycologist.  don't know which.  my goal to loose in the first year is about 95lbs.  i know some people might think that its allot to lose, but i think i can do it.  i would be so happy when i see the lbs drop.  since i love to go shopping  at my fav designers (micheal kors, and bloomningdales), i can't wait to buy new things.  the last time i bought something for me was like 6 months ago.  i was so embarrased because i had to go to the the plus size section, and look for the biggest pants size which was a 24.  i would like to be back to a size 10 which i was before starting to gain weight.  i started to gain weight because i was depressed when i lost my father to a heart attack.  i also hope to have everything clear, and have my surgery done by may or june.  but i pray thateverything goes well. when i get my surgery i will be posting pics and updates of my process. 

i only have 2 more weeks until my financial assessment that i have with the hospital.  i hope i can get an appointment with my general doctor soon.  I'm so excited on getting this surgery.  for the first time in my life i feel happy i believe that i have hope.  i want to do this especially for me.  i usually am made fun of and just laughed about it.  i can now imagine how i will look in a  few months.  i also want to give a big surprise to my family that i have in Colombia.  i haven't seen them for 3 years because i work full-time and go to school part-time.  i usually don't have time to do anything.  but this year i decided to make a complete 360 and change.  i believe that with hard work and perseverance  i will be able to make it.  I'm nervous at the same time because i never had any type of surgery.  i know of a person that has done it and had very good results.

 it's almost 2010 and I'm ready for what the new year will bring.  i now made the first step towards becoming a new person.  i made my appointment for the financial advisor that will help me finance the surgery.  even thought i have family members that are willing to pay for the surgery, i would like to do this by myself.  i work, but the money i get is towards paying for my college.  i have my appointment for January 29, 2010. then i would make my appointment for the general doctor and take it from there.  i hope everything goes well because I'm very excited in making this journey.  i start to imagine how i would look in the first year.  i would like to loose around 140 in 2 years.  then i would like to visit Colombia and give my family a big surprise that i think that they would never imagine.  if there is anyone out there that has done the lap band surgery i would love to hear your stories.  i want to know how the process works because this is the first time i would ever have any type of surgery.
