I am about two weeks from surgery and I am having mixed feelings apart of me is really excited for this because I have been overweight all my life and I am ready for the new me, but a part of me feels like I will always see myself as the fat girl no matter what I do. This is major surgery and I have come far to make it to this point and once it happens I dont want to fall back into my old ways I just dont know what to do to stop my own self doubt if that even makes sense.
