Well, I have been heavy most of my life. I can remember bing told things like if I lost weight they would buy me this or that. Or hearing "Are you really going to eat that?" It of course got worse with pregnancy. I have one daughter who I love dearly! I was diagnosed with Diabetes in 2001 at that time my daughter was 8. I started down the road to surgery in 2005. With all the appointments my doctor required I was soon to discover that I also had sleep apnea, high blood pressure, and trouble with my esophogus, and more recently cholesterol problems as well. My diabetes has gotten worse which brought my family doctor to reccommend me for the surgery.
