"Dr Almanza was great. His quiet calm confidence is very reassuring. The staff was great. Very supportive and kind. The clinic is small and not what you might be used to in the USA. Some others were put off. I've traveled all over the world and knew going in what to expect. What I do know is the place was spotless and there was someone always cleaning and disinfecting. If your looking for a hand holding babysitter, going to Mexico isn't your best option. Pay the $25K and stay home. If you're looking for a tool and are willing to do the research and take responsibility for your heath post-op you can save $17k. The risks should be known and considered before going to any international surgeon. They were discussed and I expressed my fears and concerns to the Dr and patient coord. They were addressed.rnrnI give Dr Almanza a 10 for competence. "
