My name is Steve and I am a supporter of two very important people who have recently undergone the bariatric surgery: my mom and my sister. I, too have struggled with my weight most of my adult life (300 pounds at one point), so I have an understanding of the journeys my dear ones are traveling. I am so incredibly proud and excited for both of them as they have approached this life change with incredibly positive (and realistic) attitudes. Our family is a wonderful source of support and "cheerleading," I know they'll have one of those "oh WOW" before and after pictures!
