Hi everyone! My name is Cheryl and I am preparing for bariatric surgery. I had been approved for bariatric surgery in December 2005. My surgery was scheduled for February 2006. One day prior to surgery it was discovered my husband's insurance had stooped covering bariatric surgery in Dec 2005-Yes, they didn't tell me until then-tests were even done. Anyway, needless to say, I was devasted! A few years later and a new insurance, I'm back and trying again. I went this week for my appointment with Dr. Jones who once again, was great. I still have my psych exam to attend and I will be trying for approval once again. My insurance is Anthem PPO and if anyone has any pointers for me for an approval, I would deeply appreciate it.
