Surgery went well, 6 days in the hospital and then home to my own bed! (Heaven!) No complications surgically but two weeks postop was diagnosed with a UTI and also some other bug that was contracted in the hospital. Had 102.+ fever, chills, sweats, pounding headache, dizzy, light-headed and just felt really badly. After a visit to the ER and my Surgeon, Xrays, CT scan, multiple labs, a hydrating IV, 2 different antibiotics, potassium pills and a lot of prayers, I finally started feeling a little more human this 3rd week post-op. Now I am up, dressed, walking a little each day and starting to enjoy the world again!

Cheryl-my thanks for your best wihes and prayers as we both go thru surgery this coming Friday and with me in northern NY state, you in CA and Suzi Greene in AL we hae a good circle going for the 23rd. My thoughts and prayers will be with you too that day. Till later-Chickie
